Wine and Small Plates
The wine list has its crowd pleasing favourites such as Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, a large selection of Rieslings (also referred to as the noble grape), Chardonnay, Cab Sauvignon and Shiraz but for the most part it is updated weekly with an array of domestic and international wines, focusing on small producers and unusual varieties and styles such as Sancerre, Chablis, Vouvray, Cote du Rhone, Montepulciano and Beaujolais (Boe-zho-lay). Wines range in price from $7 a glass and from $35 a bottle.
The food, like the wine is made with sharing in mind, the menu changes regulary to ensure the maximum use of seasonal produce is used. You will find a selection of small plates designed for sharing on the menu which all reflect some element of Australian Bush Tucker whether that be native bush tomatos or old man saltbush you're guanteed to try somthing native to Australia. Timbah also offers a selection of local and imported Cheese and Cured meats to choose from.
Timbah Terrace Garden
All herbs and edible flowers used in our dishes are picked fresh daily from our sustainable terrace garden above the bar. Other items of produce include cherry tomatoes, rocket, lettuce, carrots and many more depending on the season.
Timbah also offers an array of boutique and tap beer, cider, spirits, frozen cocktails and non alcoholic drinks.
